Why would I get credit card processor equipment? Won't the credit card company do that for me?
If you have a merchant account it is a good idea to get a credit card processor and take care of it yourself. Yes it is possible for you to submit all the sales to the credit card company but it is much easier for you if you process the entire transaction yourself. If you have a credit card processor at your business you'll be able to make sure that a card is valid and a sale has been authorized right then and there. It doesn't take long at all to process a credit card. In fact it can be done in just seconds.
If you have the ability to do this you will know that your sale has been authorized and you will be paid and you can eliminate some hassles in your life by processing your sales at the time of the sale. Look into getting a credit card processor and guaranteeing those sales are good!
