Step three- The last step is to apply online. Just follow the instructions to filling out the application, then hit the submit button. Once you submit your loan application, it will be reviewed and you will receive a response typically within 15 minutes.
If Capital One approves my auto loan, then what?
When you are approved for an auto loan from Capital One, they will send you, via first class mail, a loan agreement with your no-obligation Blank Check attached. This Blank Check works just like a personal check. Capital One will issue this check, good up to the approved amount, with your name and address printed on it. When you've found the vehicle you want, make the check payable to the seller or lender up to your approved maximum amount, sign it and you're done.
You are under no obligation to Capital One for your auto loan until you actually use your Blank Check. By signing the check, you are accepting the terms and conditions of the loan agreement attached to the check. Your Blank Check does have an expiration date, so don't wait too long to use it.
