How can a credit card processor guarantee me a sale is good?
If you have a credit card processor at your business you will be able to make sure that a credit card is valid and the sale is authorized right on the spot. You don't have to send all of your credit card transactions to the credit card company for them to process. This can guarantee you a sale because if you accept a credit card that is not valid or the sale is not authorized and send it to the credit card company for approval you'll have to wait to find out you're not going to get paid.
If you have a credit card processor you can find out this information on the spot and nicely tell the customer that the card was denied or the sale wan't approved for what ever nice way you can think of telling them. It is not good to find out at a later date because the customer will have your merchandise and you'll have no money for it. This means you'll have to chase them for the money and you will have recorded a sale that wan't a sale and the whole list of hassles goes on.
You have enough to do running your business day in and day out that you don't want to welcome another one. Look into what you have to do to be able to process your own credit cards and life will get a lot easier for you. Get a credit card processor and eliminate a few headaches from your life.
