Not All Credit Cards are Created Equal - Choosing the One That is Right for You (cont.)

Contributed by Rachel Johnson

If you can't get a credit card through your bank, the internet is a great resource for credit cards. Searching phrases such as "low interest credit card" or "bad credit credit card" is the best way to get search results that apply to what you are looking for. Try to think about what features you really want from a card and put those words into quotes in your browser.

Many websites offer a wide range of credit cards. These websites are usually broken down into credit rating, and you may want to browse around a bit! Such an assortment probably means they have something to offer you! These websites usually offer almost instant approval, too. So you can apply, and if for some reason you are not approved, or you don't like the terms, you can quickly move on and find something else.

Once you've got your credit card, you're good to go!

Finding a credit card that fits you is more complicated than it sounds. Give the card a try, if you decide you like it and want to stick with it, you're good to go! If you try it out and you're not happy with the card, customer service, or fine print that you didn't see before applying, ditch it and find something else! There is an endless supply of credit card providers out there, don't be afraid to keep looking until you find one that is right for you!
