Debt Management Advice for Stay at Home Moms -- -for Free! ! ! from a Stay at Home Mom

Contributed by Lisa Marie

To all of the stay at home moms out there...I have some free debt management advice for you!

I know, I know- Nothing is for free, except for all of the work we stay at home moms do for our families and my debt management advice for you!

Stay at home moms have the life, right? We sit home all day and watch soap operas on television, not to mention all of the talk shows and reruns of 1980's sitcoms on.

I'm just kidding. We work just as hard, if not harder than our better halves riding out into the urban jungles and actually bringing home a paycheck. But just where does that paycheck go? I don't know about you, but I'm not having lunch with my friends everyday sporting the latest Vera Wang pant suit, getting my hair done and contacting my plastic surgeon for a new lift and tuck. I am the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of my household, and darned proud of it!

So what sort of free debt management advice do I have for you?

What I want to relay to you is some information which I had to learn the hard way. The ability to stay at home is something that some mothers can only dream about, while others cringe at the mere thought of it. For those who are able and decide to stay home, living on a budget is usually the scenario. While this can be tough, it definitely can have it's rewards.

Beware of debt management services that offer you a way out of credit card debt! These services, although they sound great, these services can ruin your credit to a level that is equal to bankruptcy- the only difference is that you have to pay off your debt through one of these services- with bankruptcy, you don't have to pay it back.
