Did you know you can buy prepaid credit cards?
The world today is based on the principal of credit, and now there are even prepaid credit cards available too. What's that? A prepaid credit card is basically a credit card that is offered by the major credit card companies (MasterCard and Visa), and provide a solution to those people with poor credit records and are unable to get a credit card in the more traditional sense.
When you buy a prepaid credit card, it will look exactly like a normal credit card therefore, nobody will know that it is not a regular credit card. Actually, the store in which you're using it will not even know that it's a prepaid credit card.
The idea behind a prepaid credit card is similar to that of a debit card. You simply open an account with the company, put a certain amount of money toward the card, and then you will be able to use the card just like you would use a credit card. The only difference is that you won't receive a monthly statement with your current balance due, instead you will receive a statement with your current total available.
Do prepaid credit cards have advantages over traditional credit cards?
Well of course they do. Unlike traditional credit cards, prepaid credit cards are very easy to get, and can even be purchases on the Internet. You can also find them at many retail stores in your area, and you will not have to have a credit check in order to get a prepaid credit card. Also, unlike traditional credit cards, you will not be required to meet eligibility requirements associated with your income.
