Never give your credit card number out to anyone that you aren't doing business with. There is no reason anyone needs it other than if you are buying a good or service. Even if you only use your credit card every now and then the chance for fraud to occur is still there. Use your common sense and don't invite it into your life!
The major way that credit card fraud occurs is from someone accessing a credit card number not the physical card There goes the theory that a crook needs your physical card to commit credit card fraud. Be careful who you give your credit card number out to and where you leave your card. All it takes is for someone to get the number and they can use it to charge away!
