Don't Invite Credit Card Fraud to Occur!

Contributed by Annie Bauers

Is there anything I can do to prevent credit card fraud?

The best way you can protect yourself from credit card fraud is to use your brain! Your head just isn't a hat rack so use it when it comes to your credit cards. What this means is think before you give out your credit card number. If you aren't doing business with someone and they ask you for your crr4edit card number co not give it them! There is no reason that they need it and if you give out your credit card number for reasons other than business you are inviting fraud.

If you are online an you want to buy something or pay for a service or any other reason you would gi e out your credit card number make sure you are on a secure web page. It is easy to tell if you are because it will be posted right on the page for the world to see. If you don't see this do not give out your credit card number because once again you will be inviting trouble. If you invite someone into your life you want to invite them because they are welcome.

If you're not wise with your credit card you just might end up inviting a fraud and that's not cool so use your hat rack and protect your credit!

If I don't use my credit card except for emergencies then fraud will never occur right?

If you have a credit card there is a chance that fraud might occur whether you use your card or not. This does not mean you have to be afraid to use your card or have a card it just means you have to use your common sense when you use the card. Even if you only make purchases with it every now and then you still need to exercise a little caution when you do. Do not leave your receipts laying around at the sales counter or throw them in the garbage can right next to the register.
