Well, first and foremost, the most obvious solution would be to never use credit cards in the first place. Of course, if that were the case, you would not need to know how to eliminate credit card debt. You probably would not even be reading this at all. You probably, upon glancing at the title, would laugh knowingly (and somewhat self-righteously) to yourself and go on your merry way. There are some people, however, who do need to know how to eliminate credit card debt. It is to them that I send out this simple idea: stop the fun.
It is a very simple premise, really. Spending money is fun. Shopping is fun. Spending lots of money on lots of things is fun. Going out to go shopping to spend money on lots of things is fun. Getting ready to go out to go shopping to spend money on lots of things is fun. Waking up and realizing you need to get ready to go out to go shopping to spend money on lots of things is fun. If you want to eliminate credit card debt, you need to stop all of this fun.
You must realize that spending money is not fun. Shopping is not fun. Spending lots of money on lots of things is not fun. Going out to go shopping to spend money on lots of things is not fun. Getting ready to go out to go shopping to spend money on lots of things is not fun. Waking up and realizing you need to get ready to go out to go shopping to spend money on lots of things is not fun. But where will you get any fun, you ask? Read on, thou good and faithful!
