As you probably have figured out, nothing is for free. When you access one of these sites, you will have to give them your credit card number and agree to a "free trial" of their credit service, whatever that may be. This is fine as long as you remember to cancel your service after the trial period has ended.
Fix your credit report because nobody else will!
What many people don't know is that you can fight the credit bureaus, and the law is actually on your side. If you find an error (or errors), tell them about it, either by mail or online. The credit bureau must take the topic of concern to the original creditor. Then the creditor has ten days to fix the error, or prove that the item in question is accurate.
If all else fails, and the creditor proves that they are right, you can write a note for placement in the comment section of your credit report for future creditors to read. The credit bureaus are ready and willing to help you write notes for the comment sections.
