Ideally, you'll want a free credit report provider that is giving you your reports from all three credit agencies which are Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax. The information can vary from agency to agency, so you want to see what is one each one. The reason the information can vary is that not all credit cards and such report to all three agencies. Some companies only report to one agency, others report to two, and some report to all three.
This system of reporting to a varying number of credit agencies means each of your reports can be significantly different. And, your scores can vary by more than 100 points from agency to agency.
Well, if you can't find a company that offers all three then it's up to you. You could order a free credit report from three sources, so eventually you'd end up with all of your credit information. Some experts suggest staggering your requests for the three reports over a year, so you can keep an eye on your credit steadily.
Whatever you decide to do with your free credit report, utilize it! Check the information, if it's inaccurate get it corrected, and make attempts to pay off any delinquencies so you'll have more buying power in the future!
