Most of these sites will have an application you can fill out while you are online and some even offer instant approval.
Is the interest rate higher on a gas credit card than a regular credit card?
The interest on gas credit cards will vary from card to card just like it will on a regular credit card. As a rule one type of card does not cost you more in interest than another. The interest rate that you will pay on your gas credit card depends more on your credit score than anything. Just as you would for any other credit card you secure, take some time and shop around to find the lowest interest rate and best money saving offers that you can.
If you find a card with a low interest rate apply for the card and use it for your gasoline and automotive expenses and if you're smart you will use it to build your credit also. Be sure to take the time to shop for a low interest rate.
