In junction with major national banks there are also credit cards issued in the name of and targeted toward major theme parks. As with the phone company cards, these are focused on goods and services provided by the theme park and its holding company. The account holder can enjoy significant savings on travel and vacation purchases when they are part of a promotional package. It should be noted, however, that any payments made are applied first toward the promotional purchases with low APRs.
Any revolving credit balances with higher APRs sit untouched until the promotional purchases are paid off. So, while you're enjoying your honeymoon in Low APR Land, don't forget you have to come home some time.
