If you pull up your favorite Internet browser and simply type in the words, auto car loan, you may be amazed at just how many companies out there rely solely on their web presence to bring in business. They offer "top-notch customer service" and "guaranteed competitive rates" or "guaranteed approval regardless of your credit." While these companies are probably being truthful, remember to still read the fine print.
You wouldn't buy your new car without taking it for a test drive, right? The same should hold true when for the car dealership you choose. Make sure you ask the right questions about the financing. Is there a penalty if you pay the car off before the end of the loan? What's my interest rate? Is that a standard rate? With my bad credit, can I refinance later after proving myself credit-worthy again? These are all types of questions you should ask your car dealership, whether you buy online or off.
An auto loan is a major expense, one that you will probably have for at least four years. You wouldn't want your car to be a lemon, don't let your auto loan be one either.
