The American Express credit card offers something for most everyone
If you know anything about credit cards, you probably know that the American Express credit cards are known around the world and are widely accepted. But, did you also know that the American Express credit card may actually help you improve your credit score? And did you know that American Express also offers a credit card with the fancy reward programs just like all the other credit card companies do?
And did you know that you can apply for an American Express credit card on their Web site and be approved instantly? If you didn't know any of these things, shame on you. If you did, well good, just consider this a refresher course about American Express credit cards.
What's so special about the American Express credit cards?
Other than having a widely known and recognizable name, Express credit cards offer rewards and incentives for their card holders that other credit card companies don't. The American Express Green credit card is one of the oldest and truest forms of the credit card. As a card holder you will receive rewards for your purchases, and you will be required to pay an annual fee of only $65 - which is a lot lower than a lot of the other credit cards out there.
One of the most widely known features of the American Express credit cards is that you don't have a preset spending limit, so when you're in a pinch, your American Express credit card will be there for you. The American Express Green credit card will give you one "point" for every dollar you spend, and those can be "spent" on a variety of items at the end of the year. Think of it as a little extra holiday present from American Express to you.
