By using a credit card you will reduce the amount of time you need to spend tracking your expenses, and it will reduce the amount of time you spend sorting through mountains of paperwork to sort out your business expenses. You won't have to sort through mounds of receipts, since all of the expenses on your business credit card were only for your business needs.
You will still need to keep receipts for your purchases, but you will no longer have to sort them out and wonder what they were for if your attention to detail leaves something to be desired.
Whether you are starting a new business, or are running a business which is already thriving, you will still need to buy many different supplies to run your business successfully. No matter if it's ink for your printer, or a piece of machinery for your shop, money will be spent. Many business credit cards also offer protection for your purchases, and some offer warranties for the products you buy. True, most products come with a warranty of their own, but a little added protection can never hurt.
If you travel a lot for your business, you can also obtain a credit card for business use that rewards you with travel miles. These can be used not only for business purposes, but for personal use as well. And what better way to reward yourself for all of your hard work than to take a trip to an exotic location to relax and unwind from the everyday stresses of your life?
