If I am late on a few of my credit card payments its no big deal is it?
If you are late on any of your credit card payments it is a very big deal. Every credit card payment that you make is recorded on your credit report. This includes late payments. Any late credit card payments will bring your credit score down. The last thing you want to do is bring down your credit score. Unfortunately it is much harder to bring your credit score back up then it is to make it go down. The way you establish good credit is by making your credit card payments on time.
If you are able to make all of them on time you can establish very good credit. You will soon discover the better your credit is the easier things will be. You will be privy to lower interest rates and more of your money will go towards your balances and less to interest. No matter what you do don't be late because it will show up on your credit report and that is the last thing you want!

The credit card companies report to the credit agencies every single month and this is one of the ways your credit score is built. If you are on time every month this will look very good on your report and your credit score will grow. If you are late this is also recorded on your credit report and this will take your score down.
