On a Hunt for the Best Credit Card

Contributed by Jessie Hart

What Makes the Best Credit Card?

You most likely get multiple credit card offers over the course of the week, all claiming to be the best. But what really makes a credit card the best? There are several factors that make a good credit card. Including:

-No annual fees

-A reasonable grace period (20-30 days)

-A variable interest rate

-A 0% interest beginning rate with reasonable rates to follow.

Then there is the fact that although the card is a good one, it might not be the best for you. Finding the best credit card may not be a simple road, but it is a wise one. Don't gobble up the first offer that comes your way; shop around and search for the very best deal that you can find. Maybe you already have a credit card. Is it the best that's available to you? Do some research and find out if there are better deals that your company can offer you.

The Best Credit Card: How To Analyze Offers

When it comes to analyzing credit card offers, one of the best pieces of advice you can take is this: ASK QUESTIONS! Don't accept at face value everything that the company is claiming. Closely examine the fine print and get in contact with a representative at the company and question them. When a company makes an initial offer, it is usually not the best they can do for you, so don't hesitate to bargain with them. Ask if that is really the best they can do for you.
