Protect Yourself from Credit Card Fraud by Using Your Common Sense

I never use my credit card online so I don't have to worry about credit card fraud right?
Unfortunately you always have to worry about credit card fraud no matter where you use your credit card. Sorry to say that if you have a credit card number there is a chance that fraud can occur. This is not to frighten you and you shouldn't be afraid to have or use a credit card you should just be cautious. It is safe to shop online and thousands of consumers shop this way every day.
You just need to make sure you are giving out your information on a secure web page and if you feel you are on a web page that you aren't comfortable with move on to another. When you use your credit card use common sense. Don't give your credit card number out to people that you are not doing business with. there is no reason that anyone needs that number so if they ask you for it for reasons other than business don't give it out.
Just because you don't use your credit card online doesn't mean you are immune to fraud. Just use your common sense when you use your card and always protect your number and you should be safe.

You should always worry about credit card even if your card hasn't been stolen. This doesn't mean you have to frightened to have a card or use the card to buy things what it does mean is that you should use common sense when you use your card. Never give out your credit card number to anyone you aren't doing business with.
