When you see an offer for a free credit it could mean several things. Before you apply for a free credit card make sure you read the agreement carefully because there are sure to be some costs you might not be aware of it you don't. Some offers mean a free credit card because the interest rate is 0.00% hen you sign up. You better read that offer because it is not going to stay at nothing. Interest is how credit card companies make money so it will go up.
If the interest rate goes up to a low interest rate that is a good deal. You will have had a card for nothing for a few months and then you will be given an interest rate that is low and will save you money. That's a deal. However read carefully because the rate might jump to one that is a really high rate and what you pay in interest in the future will make up for anything you didn't pay for a few months. The same is true on an offer with no membership fees or other costs for nothing.
There are some good offers out there just read between the lines and make sure you are getting one of them
