Go down the list one by one, letter by letter, space by space. Do this with each of your three credit reports. Note the similarities and differences between the two reports.
Once you have done all of your work with your highlighter, go back onto the internet and log on with the first credit bureau. They will ask you for the numbers on your credit report for verification purposes. Click on the link for disputes, and type until all of your errors are typed in. Do this for each credit bureau.
The credit bureaus then submit your inquiries to the actual creditor. the creditors then have ten days to fix the errors ot to prove that they aren't mistakes. When all is said in done, the credit bureau will notify you of your creditors responses.
If your creditors fail to remove the negative item, and they claim that they have proof, you can write back to the bureaus. They will help you in writing a note for a comment section to help you repair your credit yourself.
