I want to try to repair my credit I heard that I can do this if I write a letter of dispute. Is this true?

If you want to repair your credit you write a litter of dispute to have anything on it you don't agree with removed from your report. However keep in mind there is a set of steps you must follow to have something removed from your credit so make sure you follow them exactly. If you want to repair your credit and there is more than one thing that you disagree with on your credit report you have to write a separate letter of dispute for each item.

You can go to a company that specializes in credit repair and they can help you and even send the letters for you. If you want to you can go online and look at sample letters and find other information that will be helpful to you.

How do I know what to put on a credit dispute letter to repair my credit?

If you want to repair your credit report and want to write a letter of dispute to the credit agency there are certain things you must include on your letter of dispute. If you find the help of a debt management or credit repair company they will write and send the letters of dispute for you. If you don't want to hire someone to help you repair your credit you will have to write the dispute letter yourself. Go online and find some samples and make sure you include everything that they show in the sample. You must follow the instructions exactly or it won't be removed.
