Now what do I do to repair my credit?
A critical step in repairing your credit is paying some of those monthly fees going out OFF. If you truly want to repair your credit effectively, the BEST thing you can do is show that you do have the ability as well as the discipline to PAY OFF YOUR BILLS. Getting control of your spending is the real key here. Use that key to begin your credit repair!
Start with the smallest debt first, concentrate on paying it off. Use all extra money toward that first small debt. If it's $30.00, great, pay it off! The success of seeing yourself paying SOMETHING will motivate you to keep going!
Once you pay the first debt off, take that money and apply it next month to the next smallest bill. Once that bill is paid off, take all the money from those two small bills and apply to the next biggest one and so on. You should be getting the pattern here!
As you and your mate work this plan duplicating the above system, harmony will reign in the home and who knows, you may even find enough money and peace to go on that dream vacation you have always wanted!
