Does it matter if I choose a big name bank for my credit card or should I just apply for any one of the offers I get?
If you have the chance to choose the bank that your credit card is secured under go with a big name. Although it is fun to root for the underdog in life sometimes when it comes to your money and your credit it's not the time to go with Joe underdog bank. You want to do business with a name you know and trust and even more important a name you know will still be there in the morning.
We live in a time of financial uncertainty and the smart move is to go with a credit card bank that has been round for years and has millions of customers who have done business with them for years. If you do business with one of these credit card banks you will have more opportunities to save money also. They have lots of clout and lots of capital so that means they can offer super low interest rates and other great money savings promotions that will end up saving you mega bucks.
If you have a choice go with the big dog and leave the underdog when it comes to your credit and money!
