I got a credit card offer from a bank I've never heard of. Should I apply for it?

If you get a credit card offer from a bank you have never heard of make sure you read th offer carefully. Even though you have never heard of the bank it might be a good credit card offer. Be sure to make sure the interest rate is fixed and take some time to go online and research the bank. If the name of the bank is one you have never heard of before there might be a reason. Then again you just might not have heard of them before and it is perfectly okay to secure your card through them.

It is your money and your credit so take your time and do a little research because if you will be doing yourself a favor. You want customer service and you want security so make sure you will be taken care of by the bank before you apply for the card.

How am I supposed to shop for a bank to secure my credit card?

If you are going to apply for a credit card and you want to learn more about the bank that is securing your card a good way to do this is to go online and do a little research. It won't take you long and there are some web sites that rate and review banks and some that even compare them. You are a wise consumer to take some time to do this research because it is your money and your credit that are involved. If you feel it will take too much time to do this research think again.
