There are plenty of places you can shop for credit card interest rates. You can call your bank or the credit card company you do business with now and ask them about rates on cards and you can even ask them if they can offer you one better. It doesn't cost you anything to ask and if someone says yes it will only end up saving you mega bucks. You can also go online and search for a good interest rate on a credit card. There are hundreds of offers online and you can compare all of the different ones and find some really good rates and other money saving promotions.

When you see an offer on a credit card with interest that seems to good to be true it very well may be. Be a wise consumer and read the offer completely to see how long the interest rate will stay that low on the credit card and also be sure to check out how much it'll raise after it goes up. You can be sure that it will go up in the future and if it goes up to a good rate apply for the card. Yes credit card companies do this to get you to apply for their card.
