The Good and Bad of Credit Card Offers (cont.)

Contributed by Stephanie Litaker

You know about good credit cards, now let's look at the bad ones

With the good comes the bad. So, looking at the bad credit card offers, you should do what you can to avoid the offer for the Premier Bank Gold card. This card appears to be nothing but a great magical mystery that makes your cash disappear with a high 9.9 percent annual interest rate, and they don't even offer you a low introductory interest rate. And beyond the outrageous interest rate, you will also shell out $120 every year to pay the annual fee. Had enough of the shell games yet?

Ok, so you want to avoid more than just one credit card, so you should not go for the USA Gold Card either. For this jewel of credit, you should expect to hand over the family jewels to pay for the $200 annual fee.

And if are trying to get an unsecured credit card, the company that offers the Centennial Visa or the Centiennial MasterCard will try to lure you into their wicked web. While they may offer unsecured credit cards to those with less than perfect credit histories, they don't do so without a huge reward for themselves. If you want an unsecured Visa or MasterCard from Centiennial, you'd better secure your pants for this -- their annual percentage rate is a whooping 20 percent!
