Toffee Crunch, Peanut Cluster or Buttercream: Choosing Your Chase Credit Card by Reward Program (cont.)

Contributed by Alix Mcmurray

If you're more of a land "lubber", another Chase card offers a tie-in with Subaru, by which you can earn points toward the service of a currently owned Subaru vehicle or toward the purchase of a new one. Another Chase card offers percentage-of-purchase rebates when you buy from Speedway, SuperAmerica or Rich Oil. There is even a card offering rebates on all gasoline purchases! For the more seafaring type, a third category includes the Chase Travel Rewards and Chase Universal card.

These offer a 1-to-1 ratio of points to purchase dollar, redeemable for vacation and resort rewards, and a 2-for-1 reward on selected purchases. For the confirmed homebody, there are several Chase cards offering cash back on purchases at your local grocery or drugstore, redeemable for gift certificates or credit toward selected merchandise. And yes, for the younger generation, there are rebate options for purchases at Toys "R" Us and its affiliates.

Take Your Time in Shopping for That Chase Credit Card

The Chase website itself can be used for information gathering and online application. However, there are a host of other consumer education websites which show you an array of available credit cards, with testimonials and critiques by account holders. So, before you bite unsuspectingly into that nougat and crack a tooth, make sure you know what you're sinking your teeth into!
